Professional Care For Your Pet

The Noble Park Animal Hospital has been at its current location for about 35 yrs, during which it has seen the local area grow and evolve to its current cosmopolitan state.
Dr. Kieron Nandkumar took over the practice in May 2000 as a partner in an ownership team, and has continued the client & patient focused philosophy of the practice.
We pride ourselves on taking the time to listen to clients and to examine patients thoroughly, before working with our clients on a solution to a problem or a plan of care for their beloved pets.
We have many long standing clients with whom we have shared the journey of often multiple pet ownerships, and regularly welcome new clients, most of whom have been recommended to us by their family and friends.
We are a veterinary GP, offering the range of services one would expect from their own family doctor.
We offer our patients
- Preventative vaccinations, flea and worm preventatives.
- Diagnosis and treatment of illness
- Desexing surgery and microchipping
- Dental procedures including scaling and polishing teeth and extraction of decayed teeth, along with programmes and recommendations for continued, sustainable long term dental health.
- X rays and ultrasound examination
- More complex soft tissue surgery and some orthopaedic procedures.
- Grooming services
- We also carry premium pet food and prescription diets required to manage long term medical conditions, and we stock and recommend the Hills range of products
We liaise with the many specialist veterinarians in the area to provide a referral service to pets that have complex illnesses or injuries requiring complex, specialist treatment.

Our Vets
Kieron Nandkumar
Kieron graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1992. After spending the 1st 18months of his career in South Gippsland amongst beef and dairy cattle, he returned to Melbourne, and has since worked both in welfare and private practice.
Kieron has been at the Noble Park Animal Hospital since November 1998, becoming a partner in 2000.
His clinical interests lie in internal medicine, clinical pathlogy and soft tissue surgery.
Outside of work, Kieron pretends to be an amateur astronomer, and enjoys photography.
David Cooke
David graduated from the University of Sydney, spent his early career in Tasmania, and has been a part-time member of our team for over a decade, in addition to his full time job at another practice.
David enjoys both the clinical aspect of veterinary work and the interaction with clients, and has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, aside from all other aspects of clinical practice.
His quiet and understated manner belies a wicked sense of humour, and love for a joke.
Outside of work, David spends his time with family and friends.
Our Nurses
Justine Hevey
Justine has been an integral part of our team since 2012. With the departure of one of our more experienced nurses, Justine gravitated towards and assumed the mantle of Head Nurse and Practice Manager with aplomb.
She is a no-nonsense, extremely competent, highly efficient, knowledgeable member of our team, who is puts a great deal of care into, and takes a great deal of pride from, her work.
She has a much loved Whippet, Tigger, who accompanies her to work each day and considers himself part of our team!.
Justine loves going away camping and 4-wheel driving, and in her spare time makes patchwork creations, and spending time with her friends and family in the country.
Glynis Highland
Glynis joined our practice in 2012 not long after completing her VCE.
She has rapidly developed into a highly competent and indispensable member of our team, equally efficient in clinical practice and office administration.
She regularly draws comments from our clients regarding her friendly and polite demeanour, and her love for animals.
Glynis has a menagerie consisting of 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs and Mick the Staffy, who she adopted after he was brought to our practice as a stray, having been found on the road as a consequence of a road traffic accident.
A standing joke at our practice is the number of times Glynis is mistaken for Kieron’s daughter!!
Fiona Robinson
Fiona first joined our team in 2002, already an experienced nurse, having joined the profession after High School.
Since then, she has had time away from work to have and raise 3 children, and has returned to our team part time.
Fiona is the great communicator, always having time for our clients, and relating in the most personable way with everyone.
She brings maturity and a wealth of knowledge and experience of the profession from her years of vet nursing.
Fiona owns 2 dogs, a Spoodle and a Poodle, and is the rock of her family, with whom she loves going away and spending time at the beach.
Sarah Challands
Sarah was a full time member of our team from 2005 through to 2008.
She has recently returned to rejoin us part-time, after spending a decade travelling, living and working overseas, and starting a family.
Sarah is an effervescent, efficient team member, always ready to lend a hand, and goes above and beyond to help.
Keeping her very busy away from work is a young daughter, and 2 cats, both of whom she adopted from work.
